Let me give you an example of ourselves. Not any authority or the Taiwanese denies the existence of ethnic group called Myanmar. During late 2010, U.S. conducted a census throughout the country. Myanmar, along with many sub-ethnic groups like Karen, Chin and Mon, chose to registered their preferred ethnic identity. Americans and the U.S. authorities happily accepted the existence of those ethnics without any question and/or rejection.
We cannot reject the fact that Rohingya does exist. For thousands years, mankind has been migrating and it is undeniable. The bottom line is Rohingya does exist in Myanmar's history for at least 500 years, according to knowledgeable Burmese historians.
It seems to me that the entire nation of our beloved country is heading into wrong direction by blindsided extreme nationalists. Our national icon Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has never and ever denies the existence of Rohingya. But she repeatedly press the international community and Muslim led nations to refrain from using the term "Rohingya ". It does NOT mean that she denies the existence of Rohingya. The denial of using the term "Rohingya " and denial the existence of "Rohingya " are two different things. Don't misled by the social network. Remember, she is a Nobel Laureate. She will never give up her faith of humanitarianism (now at the brink of ethnic conflict).
I am very concerned with the building of terrorist camps along ေမယုေတာင္ ျကား. International watch groups projected about 1/4 million refugees cross Myanmar border and pour into neighboring country. That amount of human exodus is very alarming to all international community and organizations.
Since the beginning of this elected government, DASSK is not able to focus on reformation, reconciliation and nation building development that all our citizens badly need. In stead, she and her government has a very hard time putting off the ethnic and religious conflicts now seems to heading into sporadic war zones in border areas. Now, even in the place like Yangon, people are living with fear. The fear of terrorist infiltration in their neighborhood. Myanmar used to enjoy the terror-free status historically. Now, it's gone! Remember, she's also getting old. Every single citizen and international community look up to her with very high hope. The time is running out. She's a beacon to all our citizens. She is the sole hope for all of us; the only leader that can bring the family security and uplift our lives.
So far, Myanmar receives moral supports from the country like China and Soviet Union. Those countries have never been helpful in nation development in any way.
To me, I am very concerned with the recent unstable situation we are facing today.
(Please keep this conversation to ourselves. Please do NOT post this in any social network. Thanks)
